Singing Classes

Our singing classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. During these classes, students will study a mixture of repertoire from a variety of musicals and pop songs:

  • Breath control, diction and articulation
  • Harmony work
  • Posture
  • Vocal technique

Students are also provided with opportunities to sing by themselves, where they receive individual feedback and specific exercises to help them improve their overall vocal performance. The classes also include a lot of group work which helps students begin to work as an ensemble so that their individual voices can blend as one natural sound.

Singing will also develop a student’s language and help with things like exploring self-expression; helping to strengthen the lips and tongue through exercise, which is then stored through muscle memory; helping students to keep a rhythm; Increases self-confidence and helps aid wanting to communicate with others & vocal imitation.

Acting Classes

Our Acting classes provide all students with a number of tools that can be used to hone their craft as Actors and enrich their acting skills.

Our sessions are designed for all students to gain confidence with not only their performance but also their communication skills as well. The sessions also build our students’ self-esteem whilst they have the opportunity to express themselves and share their ideas of storytelling in a safe environment.

Acting classes cover the following aspects of training but are not limited to; Audition Techniques, Breath Control, Character Development, Improvisation, Observation, Physical Skills, Script Reading, Sight Reading & Voice Work.

Improvisation classes are a big part of our students learning because it teaches our students the skill of improv. Improvisation is a valuable skill that will make any actor significantly better, whether you want to do comedy, commercials or TV, film and theatre. This is because improv is not only about comedy timing and being funny but also about getting out of your head and being able to think on your feet, quickly.

Dance Lessons

Our general classes are suitable for all abilities and help to mould our students into a well-rounded performer, ready for industry standard. We teach a broad range of dance disciplines including, Acro, Ballet, Body conditioning, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street & Tap.

Our students all start with a basic understanding of each dance form and progress to gain a more advanced understanding whilst developing their technique across all disciplines. All dance forms help our students with footwork, balance, core strength, flexibility, timing & turns.

Not only do our students learn a dance form but there are also many incredible benefits to taking part in dance classes, such as improving physical health as well as mental, enhances emotional development, encourages creativity, encourages socialisation, enhances cognitive development, promotes team work, increases listening skills & provides the opportunity to develop choreography skills.

For our much younger students we run a music, movement and mime class, this is known as MMM and is designed for students aged 2-4 years old.

All of our students have the opportunity to take international, recognised qualifications, of which carry UCAS points from Grade 6 and above.
